Future Research Directions

▪   Mechanochemistry & Deep Eutectic Solvents (DES): Develop low-solvent, low-energy, and rapid green synthesis methods for MOFs.
▪   MOF Formation Mechanisms: Integrate in-situ measurements, spectroscopic analysis, and multiscale simulations to elucidate how solvents and processing conditions control MOF nucleation and crystal growth.
▪  Precise Encapsulation of Nanoparticles@MOF: Tailor the size and crystal facets of Pd and Au nanoparticles alongside the MOF shell thickness to establish structure–property relationships for applications in selective catalysis and sensing.
